Here is our monthly look back at some of the criminals jailed in Norfolk courts in March.

•Jaroslaw Piotrowski was sentenced to 30 months in prison after admitting the theft of valuable vintage coins worth £161,000. The coins stolen included a 1642 Triple Unite, two Henry VIII Sovereigns, and a James Rose Royal.

•Carl Atkins from Coventry was jailed for 10 years after stabbing a Great Yarmouth man at least eight times in 2014. Judge Katharine Moore described it as 'an extremely serious' offence and said it was only 'by good fortune there was no really serious injury'.

•Clifford Pardon was found guilty of sexually assaulting two girls in the 1980s and sentenced to 17 years in prison. The 73-year-old was also placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for life and banned from working with children for life.

•Stewart Nightingale was jailed for five years for placing a hoax bomb in Tesco Great Yarmouth and phoning in a threat to detonate it. He was sentenced to five years for blackmail and three years for placing an article with intent, to be served concurrently.

•Three men involved in bringing large quantities of heroin to Norwichwere jailed for a total of 25 years. Carl Fairfield was jailed for nine years for conspiracy to supply class A and another drugs conspiracy offence, while Tony Rimmer and Rocky Paul Gamble were each given an eight year sentence.

•Ryan Browne was sentenced to three years and four months in prison after he torched his ex-partner's car and her brother's before knocking down a man his ex-partner had been seen with. Jamie Lowe was jailed for 12 months for two counts of arson in connection with the same incidents.

•Mark Barker was jailed for 12 years after he admitted a total of 16 sexual offences against a young girl. Judge Stephen Holt described Barker as posing a 'significant risk of serious harm to members of the public and in particular young children'.

•Mauricio Keiserie was jailed for six years for robbery and attempted robbery after he attempted to hold-up a Norwich convenience store at knifepoint and later that same night mugged a lone female student.

•Four men who imprisoned a man in a vehicle in Thetford and beat him up were jailed for a total of 21 years. Mariusz Winiarski was given eight years for false imprisonment and causing actual bodily harm and production of cannabis. Petr Suchoki was for jailed five years for false imprisonment and ABH, while Daniel Jasinski was jailed for two years after being convicted of false imprisonment. Rafal Schmidla was jailed for six years for false imprisonment and Actual Bodily Harm.
