A Gorleston man has been charged by police with failing to provide a specimen for analysis after a car was reported as being driven erratically and crashing into other vehicles in the town.
Ian Betson, 48 of Hilda’s Crescent, was arrested by police following an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The car he was said to be driving was seized by police.
Betson was then charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
He has been released by the police and is due to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on October 3.
After the incident Great Yarmouth Police had tweeted images of the damaged car that had been seized in the early hours of Saturday morning.
