An epilepsy suffer died after a fall, Norfolk Coroner's Court heard.
Isabel Marion Sherwood passed away at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge on April 15.
The 51-year-old was admitted to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital after a fall before being transferred to Cambridge.
Area coroner Yvonne Blake said Mrs Sherwood had also had a fall two weeks prior to her hospitalisation.
The cause of death was given as intracerebral and intraventricular haemorrhage, a type of stroke.
Mrs Sherwood worked in software sales and lived on Crompton Road in Aylsham.
The inquest has been adjourned to 2pm on October 1.
