Assistant Coroner for Norfolk, Johanna Thompson, said on Wednesday (October 10) that Cristina Magda-Calancea was born in Romania and lived at Fenland Road.

She was employed as a factory worker, the inquest opening heard.

On September 29 she was found at home with wounds to her chest and back and admitted to the Queen Elizabeth hospital, where she 'sadly died', Ms Thompson said.

The assistant coroner noted the pathology evidence is that the cause of death was loss of blood.

There will be a pre-inquest review hearing on January 7 next year at Norfolk Coroner's Court.

After Ms Calancea's death, her family and friends raised money to take her body home to be laid to rest.

A man has been charged with her alleged murder and is expected to face trial next year.
