Hoveton man denies attempted burglary of fish and chip shop

A 48-year-old man from Hoveton has pleaded not guilty to the attempted burglary of a fish and chip shop.

Stephen Parker, of Stalham Road, is accused of attempting to enter Golden Fish and Chip Shop with intent to steal on July 5 last year.

Parker pleaded not guilty to the charge at Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday, March 9).

Magistrates adjourned the case for trial. It will be heard at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on May 2.
