Great Yarmouth man appears in court charged with drug offences

A man in his 20s has appeared in court on drugs charges.

Eneri Demalji, 21 of Lancaster Road, Great Yarmouth was arrested on Friday, April 27.

Demalji appeared in Norwich Magistrates’ Court the following day, Saturday, April 28, charged with a contravention of Section 4 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, relating to producing or being concerned with the production of a drug.

He was represented by Debbie Reynolds of Norton Peskett Solicitors, who made no application for bail on his behalf.

Josephine Jones was prosecuting on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service.

The case was adjourned until Monday, June 4, with a hearing schedule to take place at Norwich Crown Court on this date.

Demalji will remain in police custody until the date of the hearing.
