More lambs have been stolen from a farm in Norfolk.
The lambs were stolen overnight from Loddon, the Norfolk County Council Trading Standards Farm Team confirmed.
It comes after 20 lambs, some of them defenceless newborns, were stolen from a field in Halvergate between 9pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday.
The trading standards team tweeted: “Keep an eye out for any suspicious activity around livestock and report it. This may also link to illegal slaughter which can be reported to us on 03454 04 05 06.
They added: “This is becoming more and more common so hoping to try and look at all the information we get to pinpoint any illegal slaughter operations.”
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in Halvergate or Loddon should contact Norfolk Police on 101.
Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
