Four teenagers have been charged with assault following what has been described as a nasty attack on a man in West Nofolk.

The victim was repeatedly punched and kicked during the unprovoked attack at 8.15pm in Broad Street, King’s Lynn, on Friday, January 19.

The man fell to the floor and the attackers carried on kicking him.

He sustained two black eyes, grazes to his face, a large lump to the back of his head and rib pain.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics but he did not need to go to hospital.

Four people, aged 13 to 16, were arrested in connection with the incident during the early hours of Saturday morning.

They were interviewed at King’s Lynn police investigation centre and charged with common assault.

Two have been remanded in custody for breaking bail conditions and two have been bailed. They will appear at King’s Lynn Youth Court on February 27.
