Four people have been charged following a burglary which saw £440 stolen from a man punched in his face.
Shortly before 5am on Friday, May 15, a group attended a property on Trafalgar Street, in Lowestoft, where they gained entry through a communal door.
The group of four then knocked on a door to wake up the victim inside who answered the door, before the group entered the flat.
Once inside they punched the victim, a man in his 40s, in the face, and took approximately £440 in cash and some tobacco.
Following police enquiries three men and a women were arrested and taken to the Great Yarmouth Investigation Centre for questioning.
21-year-old Lavell Farman of Bonds Avenue in Lowestoft, 35-year-old Joanne Searle of Zanetta Court in Lowestoft, 47-year-old Dean Meadows of Beccles Road in Lowestoft and 31-year-old Nicky Bates of no fixed abode were all subsequently charged with burglary.
They were remanded to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court on Monday, May 18.
