Eleven people will appear in court today charged with offences including false imprisonment and assault. They were among 15 held after police launched co-ordinated raids on nine addresses across Norfolk and Lincolnshire.

Five women, four men and two teenage boys will appear at King's Lynn Magistrates' Court this morning.

Violet Chilton, 56, of Rands Terrace, Dades Lane, St John's Fen End, has been charged with false imprisonment and assault.

Thomas Chilton, 28, of the same address, has been charged with kidnap, two incidents of assault and false imprisonment.

Jason Chilton, 26, of the same address, has been charged with two incidents of assault and false imprisonment.

Laura Ann Dolan, 36, of Two Sisters Close, Sutton Bridge, has been charged with false imprisonment, attempted wounding with intent and kidnap.

Wayne Dolan, 35, of Walpole Marsh, Walpole St Andrew, has been charged with false imprisonment and attempted wounding with intent.

Edward Dolan, 37, of Walpole Marsh, Walpole St Andrew, has been charged with kidnap, two counts of false imprisonment, attempted wounding with intent and assault.

Sheila Conboy, 55, of Walpole Marsh, Walpole St Andrew, has been charged with two counts of false imprisonment, assault and attempted wounding with intent.

Natalie Jayne Cooper, 22, of Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge, has been charged with false imprisonment.

Vanessa Frankham, 48, of Wisbech Road, Walpole St Andrew has been charged with false imprisonment and assault.

A 17-year-old from the Wisbech area faces two counts of false imprisonment, attempted wounding with intent, kidnap and two incidents of assault. Another 17-year-old from the Sutton Bridge area has been charged with kidnap.

All were held overnight pending the court hearing.

A 31-year-old woman from the West Norfolk area and a 28-year-old woman from Lincolnshire have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A 27-year-old man from Wisbech, arrested at Walpole St Andrew yesterday for obstructing police officers, received a caution for the offence.

A quantity of cannabis plants were also seized by officers when they searched a property in St John's Fen End and a 65-year-old man arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis has since been released on bail.
