Eleven people have been charged with conspiring to supply crack cocaine and heroin across the region.

This follows an investigation by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU).

Officers carried out the arrests during the past three months following an investigation covering Bedfordshire, London, Norfolk and Suffolk.

All 11 come from the London area.

The next court appearance will be at St Albans Crown Court, in Hertfordshire, on Friday, September 11.

Those charged are as follows: Abdi Sugulle, 29, from Westminster, London, Mahad Hassan, 28, from Westminster, London, Abdi Nurr, 20, of Chestnut Close, London, Jama Adam, 25, of Bastion Road, Abbey Wood, Lyanne Kandler-Dick, 29, of Bromholm Road, Greenwich, London, Harry Levitt, 20, of Congleton Grove, Greenwich, London, Spencer Muskia, 19, of Kew Bridge Road, London, Aaron Burnett, 22, of Garratt Lane, London, Shafic Ali, 27, of Spindle Close, London, Ali Haji, 26, of Gwednwr Road, London and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons from Romford, Essex.
