Motorist driving in ‘erratic manner’ outside A&E was four times over limit

A driver has been arrested in Norwich after they were found to be over the drink drive limit outside a hospital.

Officers from the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing unit were conducting road traffic collision enquiries at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Thursday afternoon when they stopped a vehicle driving in an erratic manner outside the accident and emergency department.

The driver was found to be four times over the drink driver limit.

@NSRoadsPolicing tweeted that the driver will be charged when they are sober.
