Driver was four times over the legal limit at 8am

A man found slumped over the steering wheel of his car was four times the drink drive limit.
Police were tipped off by a member of the public, who saw the man passed out at a service station on the A10 near Downham market.
Following the report shortly after 8am, police located the male in his car and found he was four times over the legal drink drive limit. Lynn police tweeted: “This morning, the report came in about a male slumped at the wheel of a car in the Stonecross garage on the A10.
“Officers attended and conducted a roadside breath test and got a reading of 144.”
In the UK the legal drink driving limit is 35 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The man was immediately arrested and blew 122mg in custody.
