Police have released CCTV footage of Peter Wrighton in a village shop half an hour before he was found dead in East Harling, in a bid to track down his killer.

Norfolk Constabulary has released the footage of the 83-year-old at Kenninghall Stores and Post Office from 10.08am to 10.12am on Saturday morning.

Mr Wrighton's body was found by a member of the public at 10.45am in woodland near the five ways junction in East Harling.

An employee at the shop said while they remembered serving Mr Wrighton, there was nothing out of the ordinary about the exchange.

Police have also released an image of the route the father and grandfather, who lived in Banham, was believed to have taken, as well as a picture of his red Skoda Fabia.

They have also issued appeals for three men who they believe may be able to help with their enquiries - but who have not been declared suspects at this time.

• The first man was seen changing his shirt in the area where Mr Wrighton's body was discovered, according to police. He is described as white, aged in his 50s, of slim build and with grey or white hair, balding at the top. He is thought to have been wearing light-coloured trousers.

• The second man police want to speak to is a white male, of tanned complexion and between five foot nine and five foot 11.

He is of athletic build with short, dark wavy hair, dark eyes and wearing a grey or blue t-shirt. He was also wearing 'heavy duty flip flops'.

• The third man is described as white, aged between 50 and 60, of medium build and with dark coloured clothing.
