Christmas burglars steal cash and jewellery from home on Boxing Day

Cash and jewellery was stolen from people’s homes on Boxing Day as part of a string of Christmas break-ins.

The property in Downham Road, Watlington, near King’s Lynn was broken into between 11am and 9pm on Tuesday, where jewellery and cash was stolen.

Entry was attempted at two more properties in Downham Road during the same time periods but these were unsuccessful.

Det Con Marie Lloyd, from Norfolk Police, said: “Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated, or anyone with information, should contact me.

“I am particularly interested in speaking with the owners of a vehicle that was stopped on Downham Road at approximately 3.30pm with their bonnet up.

“If you have any information, call me at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre on 101.”
