Police have seized dozens of cannabis plants from an address in King’s Lynn.

Officers swooped after members of the public reported a smell of cannabis coming from a property on the Wooton Road, on the outskirts of the town.

No-one is understood to have been arrested in connection with the haul.

Officers tweeted: “Good job they alerted us to it as a cannabis set up was found. Just a few plants were seized.”

Plants were being grown in a tent set-up with lights and an extraction fan to prevent them getting too warm.

The fan may well have turned out to be the cannabis farmer’s undoing, as it also extracted the smell of the crop from the room.
