Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary which saw more than 20 birds stolen.

At some point between 4pm on Sunday, March 25, and 7.30pm on Monday, March 26, offenders broke into outdoor aviaries at an address on Catchpole Close in Kessingland.

They stole a total of 20 canaries and some miniature quails.

Suffolk Constabulary would like to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated.

Anyone with any information should contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 37/17059/18.
