Busy night for police in King’s Lynn

It was a eventful night for police in King’s Lynn.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing Unit arrested an 18-year-old who was “twice the drink drive limit” and had failed a drug wipe.

An officer tweeted saying he was also driving a friend’s car and had no licence or insurance.

The town’s police tweeted at just before 6am saying: “6 people in the cells, including 3 on suspicion of GBH, after a busy and very cold shift on Norfolk Street”.

Following an altercation in Dr Thirsty’s during the early hours of the morning three males were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

Police said the victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn, with head injuries and a suspected broken leg.
