'Mindless' vandals have caused £500 worth of damage to a bus shelter following two attacks in less than a week according to a parish clerk.

Bradwell parish clerk, Jeremy Caborn said one of the panels on the bus shelter on Beccles Road was smashed on Friday, October 26 with a further two panels being broken on Tuesday.

Councillor for Bradwell South and Hopton, Andy Grant described the actions as 'disgusting'.

He said: 'It really is terrible for something like this to happen when there is plenty of green space for people to enjoy themselves in. It is absolutely disgusting.'

Mr Caborn said vandals inflicted similar damage to the bus shelter about one year ago.

He said: 'It is a real shame but we are just resigned to this happening now. It is going to cost us about £500 to repair which is a real waste of money.

'There are so many more important things we could be spending the money on which would benefit the community. It's just mindless.'
