A burglar snatched a laptop after breaking into a home in Bowthorpe.
The criminal got into the home in Tizzick Close by forcing a window.
It happened between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday.
A silver Dell Latitude 620 laptop was stolen, along with power leads.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the burglary or who noticed people acting suspiciously in the area.
