A bicycle belonging to a person who relies on it for transport after having a stroke has been stolen in Norwich.

DC Kim Taylor, from Norfolk police, tweeted at 8.35pm on Saturday night to say the red electric bike had been stolen from Angel Road in Norwich.

She said it belonged to someone who had a stroke when they were younger, and now uses it as their only mode of transport.

One person on Twitter described the incident as “despicable”, while another said it was “mean and horrible”.
