Prisoner with links to Norwich absconds from jail

A prisoner with links to Norwich has absconded from jail.

Andrew Lyones, aged 52, was reported missing to police today (Wednesday, December 27) after he was absent from a roll call at Hollesley Bay, in Suffolk.

He is serving a one-year and three-month sentence for fraud.

Lyones is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, balding and clean shaven.

He has tattoos, including a sleeve on his left arm and tattoos of the sun, a girl and a spider web on his lower right arm.

It is believed he may be wearing a green t-shirt.

He has links to Norwich. Members of the public are advised not to approach him.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Andrew Lyones, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
