Portable speeding devices to curb dangerous driving have been hailed a 'success story' by the council.
On March 8, the Bungay Town Council announced they had placed two new Speed Indictor Devices (SIDs) throughout the town to slow down traffic in the area.
The SIDs can record vehicle numbers, the speed of the car as well as the size of the vehicle.
The town's clerk, Jeremy Burton said: 'They are going really well, we are noticing a lot of favourable comments.
'We have had quite a marked difference, we are now analysing the data - it is a really good success story,' he said
The portable devices are expected to move around six locations, but the Mr Burton said the community have weighed in where they would prefer to see the SIDs.
In an online poll, 70pc of readers said they didn't believe the devices will stop speeding in Bungay.
