A Norfolk woman who remains in a stable but critical condition following a crash on the A11 has been named.
Laura Bocking, 21, from Aylsham, is undergoing treatment the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but will shortly be transferred to a specialist spinal unit in Sheffield after sustaining life changing injuries in the crash on October 11.
Two people were arrested following the collision near to the Station Lane junction at Ketteringham on the Hethersett bypass section of the A11.
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the crash that happened at 8.30pm as Miss Bocking was driving on the A11 in a white Vauxhall Corsa.
The occupants of a black Renault Clio, a man and woman aged in their 20s from Norwich, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
They were taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, and later released under investigation. The driver was uninjured but their passenger received minor injuries.
A Gofundme fundraising page has been set up by her family to help Miss Bocking as she continues her recovery following the crash.
It states: 'Thankfully, because of the amazing work of paramedics, doctors, surgeons and nurses, Laura has now begun her road to recovery. 'She has undergone surgery to her spine at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and shortly will be transferred to a specialist spinal unit in Sheffield, 160 miles away from home, so that she can deservedly receive the best possible treatment towards life changing injuries.'
It adds: 'Laura is surrounded by a loving family and community of friends so, in the face of the selfish acts undertaken by the few, this page has been set up so that the selfless acts of the many others visiting this page can go towards supporting Laura in any way possible, including by ensuring that her family and closest friends can be with her as much as possible during her recovery away from home.'
Police investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash have spoken to a number of witnesses but are appealing for others to come forward or for anyone may have dashcam footage
