Police and fire crews were called to clean up a chalk spill in Colman Road yesterday evening.

The crews from Earlham were called to the ring road shortly before 7pm to reports a lorry had spilled its load.

They spent around 20 minutes clearing up the chalk which had spread for about 20 metres across two lanes.
