Emergency services were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision in Beccles just before lunchtime.
Police, three fire crews from Beccles and Lowestoft South and an ambulance crew were called to Ashman's Road around noon following reports of a crash between a Citroën C2 and a Ford transit van.
The female driver of the car has been taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston with a possible fractured wrist and back. The driver of the van was not believed to be injured.
The road was closed at the junction with Grange Road to Ringsfield Road, but it has now re-opened.
