Fire crews were called to help rescue a horse which had got stuck in a ditch on the Acle Straight this morning.
Appliances from Great Yarmouth and Carrow along with the technical rescue unit from Carrow attended the Acle Straight - also known as Acle New Road - to reports of the stranded animal, at around 7.20am.
But when they arrived the horse had managed to get itself free.
