Fire crews had to help release a person after a two-car crash on the A47.

Police were called just before 10am following reports of a crash between a red Ford Fiesta and a blue Vauxhall Corsa near the Starbucks at the Acle roundabout.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were also called to assist and sent crews from Acle and Great Yarmouth. Firefighters helped release a person who was trapped in one of the vehicles.

The East of England Ambulance Service were also in attendance.

The road was partially blocked and diversions were in place.
