Fire crews, police and ambulance attended the incident, involving a Bartrums lorry, a tractor and a BOC tanker - and the eastbound carriageway was closed until just after 11am.

Traffic was diverted off the A47 and people were advised to use alternative routes.

A police spokesman said no-one suffered serious injuries in the accident, but the road had to be closed to allow the emergency services to remove the vehicles and any debris.
