Crash closes A140 in Suffolk

A man was cut free from a car after a collision completely blocked the A140 in Suffolk.

The crash, which took place at Brockford, near Eye, shortly after 7.45am today, involved a white Renault, a green Ford and a black Volkswagen.

Firefighters were called to help release a man trapped in one of the cars and the road was closed until about 10.30am.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: 'A man was taken to the Heath Road Hospital in Ipswich, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.'
