Crash causes delays in Norwich

A crash between a pedestrian and a car caused delays in Norwich this afternoon.

Police were called to the junction of Town Close Road and Ipswich Road, close to City College at around 2.30pm.

An ambulance was also called to the scene but the pedestrian was thought to have only suffered slight injuries.

A Norfolk Constabulary spokesman said they were taken to hospital to be checked over.
