A casualty suffered chest pains and shock following a collision between a green Seat Ibiza and white Ford Transit van earlier this morning.
The incident happened shortly after 6am in Plumstead Road, Thorpe St Andrew and both vehicles were moved off the road and into a lay-by, meaning the road did not have to be closed.
Police enquiries are continuing into the incident.
