Hundreds of commuters were delayed coming into Norwich this morning after a cow wandered on to platforms at the city's station.

Hundreds of commuters were delayed coming into Norwich this morning after a cow wandered on to platforms at the city's station.

The brown gelbvieh (pronounced gelbvee) was first reported at about 7.50am on the line near to marshes at Whitlingham and then wandered up to Norwich train station maintenance depot at Crown Point before approaching platform six.

It then turned back and was moved to safety at about 8.45am.
