A Bradwell couple have denied a charge of failing to declare goods obtained outside the UK when passing through customs at Norwich International Airport.
Barry and Lynne Douglas, 59 and 58 respectively, of Hawthorn Crescent, faced a private prosecution brought by the Border Agency at Norwich Magistrates Court yesterday.
Mr Douglas is accused of failing to declare 1kg of hand rolling tobacco on Friday, September 16 last year and Mrs Douglas is accused of not declaring 1,000 cigarettes and 100 cigars on the same date.
The case was adjourned until Wednesday, July 4.
