A charity, which is dedicated to providing supported activities and opportunities for young people with disabilities and additional needs, has received a funding boost.

Clients and staff at Topcats – a small charity based in Pakefield – were celebrating after they were boosted with £500 from the locality budget of Suffolk county councillor Jamie Starling.

Mr Starling presented the cheque for £500 to Topcats at their base in Morton Road, Pakefield last Friday, June 16.

Offering support, opportunities and activities for young people and adults with additional needs aged from five to 30, Topcats run a variety of support groups which are always in need of resources.

Mr Starling said: 'The money will go towards improving the facilities at Topcats for the benefit of it's clients.'
