A network supporting unpaid adult carers has launched a new service for their patrons during Carer's Week, which began today.
The Caring Space, a small network of qualified and independent counsellors, has announced they will be providing a counselling service for carers across Norfolk.
Chloe Swinton, co-founder of The Caring Space and counsellor, said: 'Often carers arrive for counselling at a point of crisis and feeling unable to cope, but just having a quiet space every week to be able to focus on them and share their emotions can make the world of difference.'
The organisation will have an information stand in the Norwich Millennium Library foyer on June 12 from 11.30am to 2.30pm
Counselling is available face to face or by telephone to unpaid carers over 18, and The Caring Space can be contacted through their facebook page, by email at thecaringspace.norfolk@gmail.com or telephone on 07521 117040 or 07772 843327.
