Council gears up for bus permit rush
IAN CLARKE Extra staff are being taken on to help cope with an expected large demand for renewed bus permits in Breckland.The permits have to be renewed every two years and as almost 1500 were issued in March 2005, a flood of inquiries is expected next month.

Extra staff are being taken on to help cope with an expected large demand for renewed bus permits in Breckland.
The permits have to be renewed every two years and as almost 1500 were issued in March 2005, a flood of inquiries is expected next month.
Breckland Council is to provide extra customer- service staff in Watton, Swaffham and Attleborough customer-service centres.
Passes will be available from Monday February 26-Friday March 16.
The centres are open at: Attleborough Community and Enterprise Centre, Church Street (Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm, extra staff from 9am-1pm; Swaffham Town Hall, London Street (Monday 9.30am-4pm, Tuesday 9.30am-2.30pm, extra staff 9.30am-1.30pm); Watton Wayland House, High Street (Wednesday and Friday 9.30am-2.30pm, extra staff 9.30am-12.30pm).
