A group of runners have raised more than £1,500 in memory of a much loved woman who died earlier this year.
Ellen Armstrong died aged 41 in April and a Couch to 5k fundraising was subsequently set up in her memory.
The fundraiser was in aid of mental health charity, Mind, and following Saturday's Lowestoft parkrun £1,597 has been raised for the cause - almost double the £800 target.
On the fundraising page, which was set up by Rebecca Harris, Ellen is described as 'a wonderful mummy, partner, daughter, sister, friend and all round beautiful person.'
In total, 327 people took part in the sun-soaked event, be it walking, jogging or sprinting.
People from all over the UK took part in the parkrun, with notable representation from countries as far-flung as Norway, USA, Israel and Australia.
A team of 12 volunteers helped to facilitate the event, in which 20 running clubs were represented.
