To make sure the most vulnerable people are protected during the coronavirus outbreak, a number of helplines have been set up around Lowestoft.

In Pakefield and in Gunton, community groups are ensuring those who may be restricted can have shopping delivered, prescriptions collected, dogs walked, and any other service they may need.

The Pakefield community support group have set up a hotline for those who need assistance, which can be called on 01502 582 964.

In Gunton, the residents association and friends of Dip Farm have also created a team of volunteers who “are willing to help you with shopping, prescription collection or any other concerns” as well as being there for company.
