Dogs under the care of a rescue centre have received a tasty festive donation.
On Christmas day the 15 pooches at East Anglia Dog Rescue will be tucking into a Christmas dinner courtesy of a donation from the Snetterton-based pet food provider Natures Menu.
Craig Taylor, managing director of the company, said: “We were keen to spread some festive cheer and ensure that all of the dogs receive a tasty Christmas dinner and would encourage people to support the centre and others like them, doing such selfless work.”
Leanne McWade, who founded the organisation, said: “Around the New Year, we see a significant rise in the number of dogs, particularly puppies being abandoned after they are bought as Christmas presents. We would encourage anyone thinking about buying a puppy to consider adopting a dog from a rescue centre and whether they could offer Lily her forever home.”
