Green-fingered enthusiasts are being urged to get together at a community litter pick in a city centre playing field.

The Lakenham and Town Close Green Spaces community group will be holding its clean-up session at the Eagle Walk Play Area, close to Newmarket Street, Norwich, on Saturday April 21.

It will take place from 11am-1pm.

Volunteers will help with a cutting back, litter picking and tidying up session in the woodland area and around the playing field.

Participants are being asked to bring their own gloves and tools if they can, but will be provided with equipment if they do not have any.

Access is through Beaumont Place (NR2 2HH) and through the Newmarket Street car park.

Group members will be in a wooded area at the end of an access road.

If you have any questions about the event call or text group member Pam Frost on 07904 584555.
