A lane on the westbound carriageway of the A47 at the Saddlebow roundabout has now been reopened.

The lane had been blocked in the Lincolnshire direction, following cement on the carriageway.

King’s Lynn police were called at 8.44am with the cement believed to have fallen from a lorry.

Highways England and the officers have cleared the carriageway and it was reopened at 10.55am.

There may be some delays.

A collision between a lorry and a car also took place on the A47 at the Hardwick Roundabout at 9am this morning.

Nobody was injured but the lorry did not stop at the scene.

A police spokesman has said because it is a damage only collision, the driver has 24 hours to report the incident before it is classed as a fail to stop.

Police are trying to locate the driver lorry driver.

The car had been moved off the carriageway which meant there were no obstructions.
