Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of Cancer Research UK, have been boosted by two recent events.
On Friday, March 31 a bucket collection was held in Beccles. The fundraisers collected £343.11 for their cancer appeals fund.
Gary Bennett, of the Lauren Lou appeal, said: 'Thank you to all my volunteers and the very kind donating public.'
And last Tuesday, April 4 Team Lauren Lou were out in force in Lowestoft town centre as they held a collection and table top sale outside the old post office.
Mr Bennett said: 'Our thanks to Lowestoft Vision and Waveney District Council for giving us permission. We raised £401.87 on the day thanks to the very kind donating public and thank you to my hardy volunteers for raising this fantastic amount for our cancer appeals fund.'
