Villagers dug deep into their pockets at the weekend to help raise money for their local church.
Stradbroke's All Saints Church's walls were lined with coins on Saturday between 8am and noon to support the building's upkeep.
The Rev David Streeter, 69, said: 'It went very well, we raised more than last time and made just over 200.
'There was every coin from pound coins to one pennies from one wall to the other, which covers two sides of the church yard.'
Mr Streeter, who has been rector at the church for 30 years after starting in January 1982, has announced that he is to retire on October 21.
