Coastguards were called to help a man who had dislocated his shoulder on Southwold beach.

The coastguard teams from Lowestoft and Southwold were called at 3pm today.

When they go to the scene, they met the East of England Ambulance Service and RNLI lifeguards to locate the man.

The man was carried from the beach to a waiting ambulance.

The coastguard team then helped the man's wife, who was on crutches, to load items into their car and she then went with her husband in the ambulance.
