Coastguard called after hire vessel ran aground in Yarmouth

The team from HM Coastguard Gorleston were called to reports of a vessel run aground last night.
It happened near Marina Quays, on Caister Road, at around 7.47pm.
HM Coastguard Gorleston said: 'Upon arrival it was found that a hire vessel was aground close to the bank adjacent to Bure Park.
'A welfare check was carried out and mooring lines secured to the bank. The crew were advised about tides and timing to when they would refloat and what to do once they did.'
