There will be plenty of laughs and clowning around in Lowestoft this week, as a popular convention returns to the town.
Clowns from around the world are descending on town for the third annual Clown Gathering UK (CGUK) convention.
The week-long event takes place from today (Monday, February 27) as performers gather to take part in workshops, trade props, swap ideas and participate in interactive sessions ahead of two performances at The Seagull Theatre in Pakefield.
Andrew Davis, more commonly known as Andy the Clown, is organising the event once more. He said: 'It will be bigger, better and bolder than before as an eclectic mix of the world's finest clowns fly in for a five-day festival of fun.'
The two live performances – entitled A Variety of Clown Comedy – are held on Wednesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 2, from 7.30pm at the Seagull Theatre. Tickets available via 01502 589726.
