Dozens of lanterns will throw a warm, festive glow over Great Yarmouth next week.
The annual parade will see around 150 people show off their creations as they make their way from Christchurch on King Street at 6.30pm on Wednesday December 6.
It is hoped that late-night shoppers will cheer them on and add to the atmosphere.
The parade will head towards, and make a circuit of, the market place before finishing near the Christmas tree where participants will sing carols.
Anyone who wants to take part can make a lantern at a drop-in workshop taking place at Great Yarmouth Library on Saturday 1-4pm.
The lanterns are made of willow and tissue paper and take around one to two hours to make. People will need to take their lanterns home and bring them with them to the parade.
The workshop and materials are supplied for free by Great Yarmouth Town Centre Partnership.
