A children's charity has smashed its fundraising target for an upcoming cycle ride.

Wooden Spoon Eastern Counties has gone above and beyond its target of £50,000 by hosting a variety of events.

The ride will take place in September. The Club Together ride is a 320 mile challenge to visit every rugby club in Norfolk across three days.

Last month a dinner was hosted with 130 guests attending at Diss Rugby Club.

An auction was held and a raffle which raised £9,000 which was added to current sponsorships.
