Then she became chairman of the fundraising committee, running a successful Lifeboat Day in August.
Ms Siely also helps crew the Gravesend Lifeboat, and plans to do a sponsored parachute jump in aid of the Happisburgh station in June.
The award is given out each year in memory of Mr Baker, a much-respected former crew member who died suddenly in 2008.
It was presented by Jane Baker, Mr Baker’s widow.
